Manufactured between May 1942 and September 1943. Full arsenal parkerized finish. Inland barrel dated "5-43" with milled front sight and "H" marked adjustable aperture rear. Receiver marked with an "SG" below the wood line, indicating it was made by the Saginaw Division of General Motors for the Inland Division. Red phosphate finished Inland trigger group with flip safety and M2 magazine catch. Round bolt. Walnut low wood pot belly M2 cut stock and "IO" marked 4 rivet top wood retained by a bayonet lug band. No visible import marks although barrel band is affixed with an interesting vintage customs label. Complete with flat bottom "UI" magazine, olive sling, and "1943" dated D.M. Shoe Co. stock pouch. CONDITION: Good as arsenal built. Very good bore. ME of 2.
