The frame dates to July 1941. The barrel is stamped SA 12-42. Rear sight is scarce flush nut type assembly that would be found on a mid-1942 produced M1 from Springfield Armory. The polished bolt is marked "NATIONAL MATCH" in an unusual matter with "028287-12SA-RE5b". Pistol grip walnut stock has no visible cartouche. Trigger guard is stamped "C-46025-1-SA". The lower receiver is stamped "RE2-D28291-12-SA". OP rod is stamped "6535382-SA". Bottom of barrel stamped 34. CONDITION: Excellent with well-defined bore.
