Manufactured in early 1944 near the end of Quality Hardware production, the highest known examples are numbered around 4853000 with the allotted production block officially ending at 4879525. Underwood barrel dated "2-44" with milled front sight and flip rear. Flat bolt and pushbutton safety. All correct internals including a known transfer “SN” trigger, one of 640 from National Postal Meter on 12/14/43. High wood stock with ordnance wheel and "Q RMC" 2 rivet top wood retained by a type 1 flat band. Complete with green woven sling. CONDITION: Near excellent, appears factory original. Metal components retain nearly all of their parkerized finishes with some high edge wear. Stock is fine as lightly sanded and re-oiled. Very good, bright bore. ME approximately 1.5. Fine mechanics.
