This presentation carbine was attributed by Larry Ruth to George Harr who served as General Foreman and toolmaker for Inland, as well as wartime supervisor and editor of the "lnlander" publication. He was also a Minor League baseball player and manager, scout for the St. Louis Cardinals, and later a Major League umpire. The carbine sports a "12-44" dated Inland barrel with "N" marked milled front sight and "I.R. CO." adjustable rear sight. Late Inland internals, round bolt with unexpected W internals, push button safety, and “E.I.” magazine catch. Low wood "OI" marked stock with large ordnance wheel on right and a 4-rivet hand guard retained by a bayonet lug band. CONDITION: Very good as rebuilt. Nearly all the original finish is retained throughout. Stock is very fine with only light marks. Excellent bore. ME of 1. Fine mechanics. PROVENANCE: Larry Ruth Collection
