Manufactured in summer 1943. Undated Inland barrel with discreet lntrac Arms import marking. Milled "N" marked front sight and "S" rear flip sight. One of approximately 8000 carbines in the 700,000 to 710,000 serial number range with a receiver marked below the wood line with a small "IS", indicating manufacture by Saginaw for Inland. Small parts corrected to WWII configuration by Larry Ruth including flat bolt, dog leg hammer, and checkered push button safety. Walnut low-wood stock “HI” marked in the sling well. 2 rivet hand guard marked with "IO" and "70-96", type 1 flat band. Complete with a green woven C-tip sling. CONDITION: Very good. Metal components retain nearly all of their parkerized finishes with light wear, the charging handle showing more high edge wear. Wood is very fine with scattered mild impressions.
