A collection of 3 early chewing gum advertisements. CONDITION: (A) An early sample from a Wrigley calendar offer, 1905. die-cut advertising calendar, showing a complete pad from 1905 and a young man in his sailor suit with a flag button, reading "Chewing Chew Select Gum." It is in a contemporary frame, showing very little edgewear. There are no rips, tears or repairs. A slight fold to the lower left-hand corner. (B) A cardstock trade card advertising Berry's May Blossom Chewing Gum. It shows a young lady in her dress outside. There is some edgewear with a missing corner in the upper left-hand side. There is good color in the main graphic field, and in a contemporary frame. (C) A cardstock trade card, advertising Bo-Kay Adams Chewing Gum with a very young child sitting in their dress surrounded by a wreath of flowers. There are some areas of paper loss in the upper left-hand corner, with great color in the main graphic field. {RS}
