A collection of 5 early chewing gum advertisements and wrappers. CONDITION: (A) A framed selection of early chewing gum wrappers, including Watkins, Messers, Beauty Pepsin Gum, Cinderella Pepsin Gum and many others. There are areas of sugar staining and loss to the outside edges. Three of the framed pieces are actual sticks of chewing gum and in a contemporary frame. (B) A Pulver Hot Chew box topper, showing the two Pulver Hot and Chew Devils and clearly marked the Pulver Company out of Rochester, New York. It has good color and no areas of paper loss. (C) A framed chewing gum wrapper for Sweetheart Chewing Gum, showing a complete wrapper with a great image of a young couple kissing. (D) A die-cut chewing gum cardboard advertisement with a teddy bear in a contemporary frame. There is great color to main playfield. (E) A set of three contemporary framed chewing gum wrappers for Michigan Chewing Gum, showing peppermint, spearmint and spicy fruit. The complete wrappers show some edgewear. {RS}
