Pre-Prohibition. 1890s. It is marked "Fischl, Marienbad" on the bottom of the lid. An incredibly rare piece of Anheuser-Busch brewery history. It has exquisite detail and craftsmanship throughout and brilliant colors and detail throughout the paintings of the Budweiser girls, dogs and horses. Amazing gold gild work throughout. CONDITION: Shows some very light wear and crackling to the gold paint surrounding the women. There is a stain on the bottom gold edge below the red dress woman. There is some wear at the top of the outside handles, and the edge of the vessel. Shows some slight staining to the inside. Modern screw holding the vessel to the pedestal. The top and bottom of the base, shows some old paste residue in white ceramic.
