Pre-Prohibition. C. 1890s - early 1900s. Extremely rare and difficult to find sign in any condition. Shows the golden awards of the many different types of Anheuser-Busch beers brewed at the time. Also shows butterfly symbol that was used occasionally by Anheuser-Busch. Beautiful detail in the gold medallions and the Anheuser-Busch eagle logo and butterfly. CONDITION: There is some lifting and paint loss through the gold, but is still solid overall. Sign is cracked and broken from upper right corner down through middle to the left of the eagle. 4" crack to the left of the break on bottom edge. Modern gold wood frame with sign held in place by cardboard backer. Glass piece is broken off in top right corner and missing. Incredible piece of Anheuser-Busch history.
