Three position pictograph selector telescoping stock Heckler & Koch MP5SD registered receiver machine gun manufactured in 1985 according to "IF" proof code on top of receiver. Marked "Made in W. Germany / HK Chantilly, Va" on right side of magazine well, and "HK MP5 SD" on top of receiver. This cataloger needs to emphasize the fact that this is a factory original MP5 SD, not a remanufacture nor an installed auto-sear gun. This specimen incorporates a telescoping stock and horizontal forend. One original "Made in Germany" magazine included. The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (BATF) is in the process of removing restrictions on previously “Pre-86 Dealer Sample” restricted machine guns which meet special and specific criteria of “GOV Exception Use”. This is one such gun. Please note: Just because what you thought was a Pre-86 Dealer Sample now shows a “white” in your electronic registry listing online is not a conclusive indicator that restrictions have been removed. One must inquire specifically by serial number to the BATF in writing in order to verify that restrictions have been removed. Manufacturer’s information such as “Imported NFA Firearm” is NOT being changed incidental to this process. Included original factory accessories are: red cover factory manual, cleaning brushes, sight adjustment tool, scope mount with clamps, screw-on barrel port cleaning brush, and web sling. Electronic NFA registry indicates “IMPORTED NFA FIREARM” as the manufacturer. Please note that we have official verification from the BATF that this gun and silencer are indeed unrestricted and fully transferable to individuals. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original black hard coat finish. This gun presents as nice as any this cataloger has ever encountered. Composite furnishings of buttstock and pistol grip are near excellent, as is the condition of the factory original silencer with matching serial number to this gun. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. This has to be the very pinnacle of what is available in the United States regarding Heckler and Koch. One cannot overestimate the precedence of this offering of a fully transferable factory original MP5 SD with silencer. THESE ARE NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEMS AND REQUIRE BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THESE ITEMS ARE UNRESTRICTED - FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. THEY WILL INCUR TWO $200 NFA TRANSFER FEES IF TRANSFERRED ON AN ATF FORM 4’S. JWK 2024-09-043.
