Pre-Prohibition. 1895. Manufactured by the American Fine Art as marked on the bottom middle edge. An extremely rare example introducing Malt Nutrine for the first time. A beautiful scene of young girl holding a labeled bottle of Malt Nutrine over the top of the Anheuser-Busch eagle with U.S. shield on top of the globe, overlooking the Anheuser-Busch factory in St. Louis. The colors are vibrant and bright. CONDITION: Sign exhibits light fading, with a slight discoloration. It has some wear to the paper on the bottom left above the globe. There is a small minor paper chip on the right side next to the matte. A minor 1-1/2" scratch to the paper on the upper right corner. It has some light scratching through the lettering at the bottom. The main section is clean overall. The outside matting and frame shows overall discoloration.
