A nice example of this early optical trade sign featuring cobalt blue lenses with hand-painted lettering. CONDITION: The blue lenses show general wear to the hand-painted lettering. The left-hand lens has been cracked. The missing cracked section has been replaced with a piece of board to enhance the display. The metal frame of the glasses shows a nice yellow paint job, with various areas of paint loss and wear throughout. The patina enhances the display on this sign.
