C. 1936. The box is complete, has some very slight creasing and staining, crisp and displays well. The ring shows a lot of nice Popeye-related character, including Wimpy, Olive Oyl and others around the ring. It looks like original ring ropes. The celluloid figures have no denting, and they are nice and bright. There is some slight wear on the inside circle the fighters spin around. At the end of each round, a bell rings. One of the greatest action Popeye toys made. From the Mark Kuster Collection.
