C. 1932. One of the most difficult Chein Toys to find in this condition. An original shadow box with slot in back. There is a circle Chein mark on the back left leg, as well as King Features Syndicate, Inc. on the back of right leg. The original box is very colorful. Marked No. 254 Popeye Shadow Boxer on top and bottom. CONDITION: The box has some slight creasing, and the top and bottom flaps look like laser printed replacements. There is minor scratching to the toy. From the Mark Kuster Collection.
