Pre-Prohibition. Early 1900s. Sign is made up of butterfly wings mounted to the glass that create the iridescent glow. Incredibly rare and unique piece. CONDITION: Some lifting to the reverse glass paint through the "Anheuser-Busch" lettering in the bottom. Eagle is solid. There is some lifting to the black outer area. There are some missing spots throughout the butterfly above the eagle's left wing and towards the bottom, above the lettering. Beautiful inlaid wood frame with crudely mounted wood bottom.
