C. 1920s - 1930s. Incredibly rare and difficult sign to find. Lovely image of beautiful women sitting along the waterfront enjoying the light from the lantern and burner below. Colors are bright and bold. Marked "Made in Germany" along bottom edge, partially covered by original wood frame. CONDITION: Sign shows scratching and denting overall. Significant scratching on woman's right knee and several other marks on her arms and chest. Miscellaneous overpaint also throughout the sign. Brown paint found on wood frame has been overpainted onto the sign to outer edges and along bottom. Sign is attached with numerous nails on back side to the frame.
