Copyright 1879. St. Louis, MO. Artwork done by Moritz Ulffers, as marked "M. Ulffers Duseldorf" on the bottom of the right pillar below Philadelphia Metal. Marked "Copyrighted 1879 E. Anheuser Co.'s Brewing Association St. Louis" in the bottom left corner, and "Manufactured by Wittemann Bro. Importers of Art Lithograph New York" in the bottom right corner. A significant piece of Anheuser-Busch history. One of the earliest known Anheuser-Busch - Eberhard Anheuser lithographs. It shows incredible detail throughout the lithograph, showing the young cherub boys throughout as well as the manufacturing process below. It shows 1876 Philadelphia First Prize Medal and 1878 Paris Grand Gold Medal Brewer's Awards. CONDITION: The colors are beautiful throughout. It shows light discoloration, primarily to the white/cream areas. There is an area of restoration through the left side of the "U" in "Anheuser." It has a modern frame and matte.
