Lithographed tin boat in green and cream with Popeye seated and holding onto wheel, pipe in mouth. Regular sailor shirt with white cap. When wound, propeller turns. Marked "Popeye Speedboat No. 400 / 1935 King Features Syndicate / The Hoge Mfg. Co." Working. Pipe looks original. Hull appears to be restored. Some play wear and scratching to top. Looks like original rudder on rear of boat. Very rare piece, almost impossible to find. Very good partial restoration. Comes with homemade wooden stand. From the Mark Kuster Collection.
