C. 1939. Made two versions of this toy, one Bluto and one Popeye, but both boxes for the dippers have Bluto lithographed on the box. An eccentric car that goes back and forth. The original box is complete. It is a little brighter on one side than the other. The toy is nice and clean. The celluloid is very bright, with minor wear. From the Mark Kuster Collection.
