Late production circa Spring 1944. Marlin barrel with with milled "SN" front sight and "I.R. CO." rear sight. Internals appear largely correct including flat bolt and push button safety, the hammer appears to be a "IN" replacement. "TN" marked low wood stock marked on the right with the ordnance wheel and "NPM / FJA" cartouches. Left side marked "ARAF". "TN" marked top wood retained by a "UN" flat band. National Postal Meter carbines with late features including low wood stocks and adjustable rear sights are very scarce although this appears correct. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel retains the vast majority of its correct dark arsenal finish, the receiver likewise retaining significant portions of finish with some expected moderate wear. Stock is fine as lightly sanded and reoiled. The cartouches on the right side appear to have been covered when the stock was sanded remaining legible compared to the "ARAF" marking. Near excellent bore. ME reads just under 1. Fine mechanics.
