Manufactured in the second block of Inland production, circa mid to late 1944. Inland barrel dated "7-44" with "RIA" front sight and "I.R. CO." rear. Rebuilt internals including round bolt and flip type safety. Low wood "IO" stock with fat boy grip stamped with a rebuild "P" poof and an ordnance wheel on the underside. Correct wire stock with leather cheek piece attached with rebuild "7/4" rivets. Butt plate marked "B257614". 4 rivet top wood is marked "IO" and retained by a bayonet lug band. Accompanied by a 2007 dated CMP COA. CONDITION: Very good. Carbine retains significant portions of fading arsenal finish with expected wear. Stocks are very good with scattered light impressions as well as characteristic wear where the folded stock makes contact. Good strong bore. ME reads just over 4. Fine mechanics. No magazine present.
