Pre-1900. Unusual shaped wood store container with glass front, lift lid and original bale handle. Label on back indicates that the type of wood and quality of the paper liner assures that it will not retain the tobacco so that it can be useful after the product is used. Power & Stuart Tobacco Container. Great stamp. Tobacco was shipped in wood containers before tin was manufactured.
Condition: (Excellent for age).
