Manufactured in August 1944. Matte finished Winchester proofed barrel with standard front sight and lock bar rear. WWII production "D28287-1W.R.A" bolt, uncut "D35382-W.R.A." op rod, "C46008-1W.R.A." hammer, "D28290-W.R.A." trigger housing, and "C46205W.R.A." trigger guard. Walnut stock stamped on the left with replica "WRA / GHD" and ordnance cartouches, as well as a circle "P" on the wrist. Complete with green woven sling as well as a 10" American Fork and Hoe bayonet with scabbard. CONDITION: Excellent as restored. Nearly all of the nicely reapplied parkerized finish is retained throughout. Stock shows only light handling. Good, strong bore with some light abrasion. ME reads approximately 4.5. TE of 4. Fine mechanics. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
