Single 15" Globe Lens on Metal High Profile Body. C. 1930's. Burlington Refineries, Hamilton, Ontario. A very rare and highly sought after lens from Bengal Green Gasoline showing detailed Tiger graphic with unique script. CONDITION: Lens shows brilliant color & gloss throughout the field with no notable wear in the graphic or lettering. Lens shows a repaired crack along the bottom extending from the lower right to the lower left edges. Repair is nicely done and displays well. The outer edge shows light nicks and use wear with some nicks in the white painted edges. Lens is set with caulk onto a metal high profile body which shows black paint. Although damaged this lens displays very well and is one of few known examples.
Condition: (GRADE - REPAIRED).
