Maker's mark "A.F. Kahmeyer Chicago." C. 1920s John Drew Cigar hand-painted cardstock sign with newly added frame. CONDITION: Sign has strong color, with minor paint drips throughout and below the upper-body of the graphic. Sign has a couple areas of touch-up paint on the inner and outer fields, most significantly on the gentleman's tie. The outer edge of the sign shows minor deterioration, most notably on the left-hand side, which has been slightly concealed with areas of match paint. Overall, an outstanding early sign with good display-ability.
