(M) FINE EARLY PRE-BAN SPRINGFIELD ARMORY M1A SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE.

Circa 1977. Rifle is constructed with a mixture of military and commercial parts including a "GENESEO'' marked barrel, cage flash hider with bayonet lug, protected blade front sight, adjustable aperture rear. Finished in full gray parkerization. Military style walnut stock with fiberglass handguard and flip up tool trap butt plate. Complete with a woven sling, 4 total 20-round magazines, 1 10-round magazine, a factory scope mount, and cleaning kit, as well as the original paperwork packet which includes the original 1977 dated receipt and manual, among other factory paperwork. CONDITION: Excellent. Rifle retains nearly all of its factory finish. Stock has some scattered impressions but is otherwise very fine. Mirror bore. Good mechanics. Trigger guard is slightly bent. Accessories are good, some with areas of light oxidation.
