This c. 1970s double-sided light-up sign from McDonalds features the iconic double arches, with an embossed plastic directional arrow reading "Thank You." CONDITION: Side 1 shows good color in the field of the embossed plastic section. There are a few scrapes and rubs to the plastic, with the outer edges being concealed by the metal frame. The arches show a few horizontal cracks to the plastic, but remain sturdy and display nicely. (8.0). Side 2 shows a melted section in the letter "K" of "Thank You," as well as a few surface cracks to the plastic in this section as well. The arches shows additional cracks to the plastic, and the metal frame holding the arches shows metal loss around the edges (6.0). The metal frame and base of the sign shows paint loss and wear throughout. It was likely repainted white at some point in the distant past.
