Circa 1986 per AP Italian date code. Mono-bloc barrels fit with a smooth solid rib, flared at the muzzle and towards the chambers, fit with a brass bead front sight and fixed, standing, stippled rear sight, with scope bases dovetailed near rib. Typical Italian proofs and date code, with "P. Beretta Italy" on left side of top barrel and caliber designation over barrels. Lightly engraved at breeches with a rais-de-couer design. Scope mounts fit with a Swarovski Habicht 1.5-6x42 SFP scope with duplex reticle. Schnabel forearm checkered in a point-and-wave pattern about the Deely latch release, lightly engraved with florals on exterior iron, interior with matching serial number. Case colored boxlock action with light engraving of beaded border work and dressed hinge pins. Non-automatic safety with an encircled "S" ahead of slide; barrel selector has been fixed in place with what appears to be Marine Tex or equivalent. Dark wave grained walnut stock with side panels and pistol grip is checkered at the wrist in two panels of point pattern checkering with a right hand palm swell and a Beretta medallion on underside of pistol grip. Sling stud at toe line, and Beretta branded waffle pad. CONDITION: Very good, retaining virtually all of the factory bluing with some minor handling marks from the field. Some very minor silvering to reciprocating areas, such as sling stud and where forearm affixes. Some very minor patina on left side of front sight. Stocks are very good with some handling marks, free of cracks or chips. Case color with the majority of case colors, lacquer lifting in a few areas, primarily to left side. Mechanically fine, bores are very good with strong rifling, glass is clear but slightly ochre colored. A good double rifle in a great caliber.
