Manufactured in the 4th Quality Hardware production block between March and May 1944. Buffalo Arms barrel dated "10-43" the stamping facing the muzzle rather than the breech. "J-Q" milled front sight and "GE-O" rear flip rear sight. Internals include "Q-NL" trigger housing, push button safety, "SP-Q" magazine catch, "LT-Q" hammer, "Q" marked detachable spring tube, blued "EM-Q" flat bolt, and "DA-Q" slide. High wood stock marked in the sling well with a faint "Q-RMC" and on the right with crossed cannons, likely restruck. "RMC" 2 rivet top wood retained by a "U" marked flat band. Includes web sling. CONDITION: Fine. Carbine retains nearly all of its factory metal finishes with light wear and scuffing. Some older oxidation present at the butt plate and barrel band. Stocks are fine as cleaned and re-oiled. Crisp bore. TE of 3.5. Fine mechanics.
