Exceptional crate of Yugoslavian M59/66 semi-automatic rifles. The crate contains 10 sequentially serialized Zastava M59/66 rifles, accompanied by matching instruction manuals that indicate these rifles were manufactured in 1985. Each rifle is of standard 59/66 configuration, featuring an integral grenade launcher, launcher sight, and rubber recoil pad. The exterior of the crate shows several paper and painted labels, with the interior retaining its original label indicating that the rifles should be properly cleaned before firing. CONDITION: Excellent, as nearly new, with the rifles retaining virtually all of their original arsenal applied blue finish, displaying a layer of cosmoline on their exteriors. Mirror bores, with sharp and well defined lands and grooves throughout. Wood furniture is en suite. The exterior of the crate displays some very minor losses to the corners of the braces but is otherwise fine and completely serviceable. While once a common sight in the United States, these crates are now seldom encountered, with rifles removed from their crates and sold separately.
