DSP. Large and Impressive c. 1950s Dog N Suds double-sided porcelain neon sign with outstanding graphic and stainless steal arrow with running bulbs. CONDITION: Side 1 has good color and gloss throughout with surface staining and scratching on both the inner and outer fields. Sign has more significant scratching and ghosting visible in the black porcelain, as well as porcelain loss on the outer field and outer edge. Sign also has two insulator holes that are not being used. The stainless steel arrow has very minor white paint residue on multiple sections (8.0). Side 2 has good color and gloss, with only minor fade and scratching throughout the black sections of the graphic and in a handful of spots on the background. Sign has two unused insulator holes and minor porcelain loss on the outer edges. The arrow also has white paint residue along the bottom edge (8.5). The sign is mounted on the original can, which has very minor rust staining, with no rot. This is a five-color neon (red, white, green, yellow, purple) with running bulbs. All bulbs are present and functioning on both sides.
