This Smith & Wesson Model 76 machine gun has white filled markings which really bring out the beauty of the factory logo. Otherwise this is a “U” prefix serial number in high condition. One as-new-in-original-factory-marked-wrapper 36-round S&W magazine is included. These guns were manufactured between 1967 – 1974. Fit, finish and quality of manufacture is top-notch. Features include selective fire, an ambidextrous safety/selector, and the ability to be very compact with a swing-out rubber covered shoulder loop. Electronic NFA registry indicates “SMITH AND WESSON” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original matte blue finish with near excellent furnishings. Slight loss of finish where the selector rotates. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face also near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. The markings really popout at the observer of this gun! THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO AND RELIC ELIGIBLE. JWK 2024-12-26.
