Manufactured circa October 1942. Springfield barrel dated "10-42" with protected blade front sight and locking bar rear. Internals include 1942-1944 "D28287-12SA / B4B" bolt, 1941/1942 "D35382 3 SA" unrelieved op rod, 1942 "D28290-6-SA" trigger housing, 1942/1943 "C46008-3 SA" hammer, 1942/1943 "C46015-9SA" safety, and milled trigger guard. Walnut military stocks with encircled "P" firing proof on the wrist. No visible import marks. Complete with web sling. CONDITION: Good. Rifle retains significant portions of thinning arsenal parkerized finish, drifting to brown patina with areas of freckling. Stocks appear cleaned and reoiled long ago with some expected scattered marks. Strong, lightly frosted bore. ME reads higher than gauge graduations. TE of 4.5. Fine mechanics.
