Box is dated "Copyright 1886" and shows early baseball field with fence and bushes in the outfield. There is a red team and a blue team. Box lid is complete, but does have moderate to heavy edge wear and some slight paper loss. The board itself says "Parlor Baseball Game." Inside includes scorecards, spinners, directions, pencil, ten hand-painted metal baseball figures, four blue wooden game pieces and four brown game pieces. Figures look good mounted on green bases. One depicts a man throwing a baseball, one a batter, one a catcher and the rest fielders. Has two side box inserts, but slight splitting on two corners.
