Manufactured by PolyTech in China at Factory 386 for commercial export and sale in the United States. Classic AK profile, with protected post front sight, bayonet lug, deep U notch rear sight with sliding elevator between 1-8. Blond wood handguard, gas tube cover, and checkered pistol grip, and desirable underfolding sheet metal stock. Typical legends throughout for PolyTech, KFS import mark on underside of receiver, and 386 factory code. In cream colored PolyTech/PTK International box with accessories comprising three magazines still wrapped in plastic, oil bottle, bayonet, sling, allen key, and cleaning tool cannister with tools; end label identifies this gun by serial number with hand written "DOWN-FOLD". Matching serial numbers observed on piston, gas tube cover, and bolt carrier. CONDITION: Outstanding, very close to NOS or equivalent, with some extremely minor handling marks, likely from shop wear; somewhat heavier superficial scratching to butt. Line between selector positions has not broken through the bluing, mechanically fine, bore excellent with bright, strong rifling. Folding stock button does not depress for articulation; given the condition of the rifle, it is likely congealed oil. Breech face is very clean, and this rifle may not have been fired since it left the factory. Box excellent with some fraying to edges and some typical age related distress, but solid and whole. An outstanding example.
