Manufactured in the 2nd Winchester production block between December 1943 and November 1944. Correct Winchester proofed and "W" marked barrel with protected blade front sight and earlier "S" marked 2 position flip sight. Rebuilt internals including flat bolt, flip type safety, and M2 magazine catch. High wood walnut stock marked "IO" in the sling well and with a large crossed cannons on the right side. 2-rivet "IO" handguard retained by a "J.M.Q." bayonet lug barrel band. No visible import marks. Complete with web sling, 1942 dated stock pouch, and 3 total flat bottom 15-round magazines. CONDITION: Good. Carbine retains significant portions of fading arsenal finish mixing with gray patina. Stocks are very good as lightly cleaned with scattered mild impressions. Very good, bright bore. ME of 2.
