Manufactured in 1954. "5-53" dated LMR barrel with Post-War sights. Rebuilt internals. Standard walnut stocks with boxed "RIA" cartouche and encircled "P" firing proof. Accompanied by a 10" United Fork and Hoe bayonet with scabbard. CONDITION: Good. Rifle retains significant portions of arsenal applied parkerized finish with expected moderate wear. Stocks have dings and impressions throughout with a few larger chips. Butt has an added coat of finish. Well defined bore. ME of 3. TE reads just over 4. Fine mechanics. Bayonet rates good.
