Manufactured as part of the 1st standard Inland production block, which ran from May 1942 to December 1943. "5-43" dated Inland barrel with protected blade front sight and Post-War "SA" aperture rear sight. Mixed internals including flat bolt, flip safety, and M2 magazine catch. Fitted with a pot belly walnut M2 stock and 4-rivet "IO" marked handguard retained by an "IA" bayonet lug barrel band. Trigger has been mounted with an aftermarket target shoe. No visible import marks. Includes green web sling and "1944" dated US olive canvas case. CONDITION: Very good as rebuilt. Carbine retains nearly all of its reapplied parkerized finish with wear to working surfaces. Stocks have only mild impressions and handling marks. Strong, bright bore. ME of 2.5.
