Manufactured circa 1945, only around 7,000 of these semi-automatic battle rifles were produced. Rifle remains in standard configuration with phosphate finish, hooded blade front sight, adjustable 1200 meter rear sight, walnut stocks, and spike bayonet. Matching numbers observed on receiver and stock. Import marked on the underside of the barrel. CONDITION: Good. Rifle retains the vast majority of its arsenal finish with areas of thinning. Stocks have developed a rich, darkened appearance, some expected dings throughout. Plastic charging handle knob not present. Very good, crisp and bright bore. Fine mechanics, the action still full of old grease.
