Very rare item to find these days, especially with the original factory box, this is the full-auto conversion kit for the M16/AR15 machine guns. Two 20 round .22 LR "Atchisson" marked magazines are included with this lot, along with the conversion unit. Magazine floorplates and unit itself are factory marked as in the title of this lot, with “Powder Springs, GA, U.S.A.” below the nomenclature on the right side of the conversion unit. Magazine floorplates indicate “Marietta, GA”, and included factory cardboard box indicates “Marietta, Georgia U.S.A.”, with hand annotation, “FULL AUTO”. CONDITION: Very clean, with exterior metal surfaces near excellent original lustrous blue finish on conversion unit. Internals of unit move freely when actuated by hand. Magazines have near excellent original finish, with typical rivel at bottom front, with good spring tension. Factory cardboard box is in fine condition with insert present and remnants of tape and adhesive staining where tape held it closed in the past. JWK 2024-12-15.
