Manufactured in the 3rd Inland block of production between January and August of 1944. Inland barrel dated "8-44" with milled front sight and "I.R.CO." adjustable aperture rear sight. Internals include Inland trigger housing, "H-I" hammer, push button safety, "SI" magazine catch, "IO" flat bolt, and "PI" slide. Walnut low wood stock marked "IO" in the sling well and stamped with crossed cannons on the right. "IO" marked 4-rivet top wood retained by a type II band. Includes an "AI" flat bottom magazine. No visible import marks. CONDITION: Fine. Carbine retains nearly all of its arsenal parkerized finish with mild wear. Stocks appear lightly cleaned with scattered impressions. Fine bright bore displaying crisp rifling throughout. ME of 1.5. Fine mechanics. A nice Mid-War carbine in correct configuration.
