This Inland manufactured M1 Carbine has import marks, round bolt, rotating flip safety, ramp peep sight, and bayonet lug with installed Sendra registered full-auto parts to convert to an M2 carbine machine gun. Accessories include clamp-on muzzle brake, 2-cell canvas pouch, original web sling, five 15-round magazines, and five 30-round magazines. Receiver remains marked as "U.S. Carbine / Cal. .30 M1". This means the gun will transfer as a semi-auto rifle even as the removable registered full-auto parts will transfer as a National Firearms Act machine gun. These will not be separated by Morphy’s, but the buyer may do so once they take possession. The M2 Carbine was fielded at the very end of World War II with most going to the Pacific Theater. After the war, many M1 Carbines were retrofitted and made into M2 carbines by the U.S. government, and still later, a number of different machine gun manufacturers registered sets of conversion parts that could be installed, as in this case, into standard M1 carbines. Electronic NFA registry indicates “SENDRA CORP” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent gray arsenal refinish with extremely fine condition un-marked stock. Bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. Bolt face is extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp and positive. This is a select fire machine gun. These carbines are a lot of fun to shoot as they have minimal recoil, and are so light and handy. The characteristics which made them popular with WW2 Veterans still holds true today. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2024-12-60.
