This is a very nice lot of Browning machine gun parts, including a Model 1919A4 display gun with no right side plate, but does include a “display” plate, which is too thick to be fitted to the display gun, while the gun has un-modified internal parts. Cocking handle and other small parts are present in a plastic packet. Additionally, there is a model 1919A6 shoulder stock assembly, and front muzzle with bearing and bipod legs. Also included with this lot is a carrying handle for the water-cooled Browning model 1917A1 as well as a “beer can” flash hider, standard cone flash hider, as-new-in-wrapper top cover assembly (A5-5564138), top cover retention latch, pair of brown bakelite grips, and 8mm Mauser barrel adapted to the Browning 1917A1. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine original dull gray blue finish. Mechanics of display gun are fine. 8mm bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. 1919A4 bore is very good with strong rifling. As it is, the display gun without side plate gives a good look at the internals of the Browning machine gun, and the value of the parts in it, and the other included parts adds up very nicely. JWK 2024-12-81.
VERY NICE BROWNING 1919A4 DISPLAY GUN WITH ADDITIONAL 1919A6 AND 1917A1 PARTS.
