Very nice matching except for bolt Steyr manufactured MP-40 with clear “WaA 623” markings on receiver tube forward of magazine housing, with “bnz 43” marked lower assembly. Barrel resting bar is bakelite and slightly damaged at barrel retention nut, but very solidly in place and serviceable. A post-war Norwegian manufactured aluminum resting bar is included as well as an original Nazi marked leather sling, and two original boxes of Nazi 9mm ammunition. No magazine present but these are readily available. Electronic NFA registry indicates “GERMANY” as the manufacturer. CONDTION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent original finish with some loss of finish at the high edges. Slight ding on right side of shoulder loop. Bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. Bakelite lower and grips are near excellent with light handling marks. Mechanics are crisp. This is a full-auto only machine gun. Just a wonderful ensemble for the discerning MP-40 collector who wants a great specimen with accessories to take to the range as well as to make a proud display. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO AND RELIC ELIGIBLE. JWK 2024-12-58.
