Very attractive and sought-after John Stemple Thompson machine gun. This is a 1928 Thompson machine gun kit adapted to a John Stemple registered receiver. Stemple, and now Poling, have been very successful with pursuing this approach regarding machine guns. Left side of the receiver has manufacturer, model, and serial number information. Three 50-round drums, six 30-round stick magazines, ten 20-round magazines, and one reproduction FBI hard case are included with this lot, as well as one brass ring cleaning rod. Electronic NFA registry indicates “STEMPLE, JOHN” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original matte finish upon remanufacture. Bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. Bolt face is extremely fine. This is a select-fire machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
