Johnny and Julian Lim are well known for their uniquely designed 2011 pistols, which have been used to win countless world championships in the hands of shooters like K.C. Eusebio, Simon "JJ" Racaza, and Scott Greene, all of whom have won international titles with their firearms. They virtually never surface on the secondary market as their owners so infrequently part with them. This is one of their Razorcat models, their flagship Open division gun with compensator, tungsten sleeved barrel, LimCat frame mount for optics cut for a Leupold Delta Point Pro, with a 2.5 MOA dot with the "blue board" currently installed, GoGun USA Gas Pedal, and oversized slide racker. Frame with left side only thumb safety, SVI interchangeable trigger, currently fit with a flat trigger, pinned grip safety, Phoenix Trinity checkered grip, and Limcat steel insert magazine well. With a 130cm 2-piece Guga Ribas belt with three Guga Ribas magazine pouches, a Guga Ribas Universal Holster, and a NEO Guga Ribas Closed Universal holster. Other accessories include a 170mm MBX magazine, and a crate of ammo labelled for use with 9mm Major; due to the nature of 9mm Major and reloads, they must be considered components only. CONDITION: Excellent, showing evidence of light match use, with some silvering to sharp edges but retaining over 90% finish. The consignor states round count is approximately 1,000 rounds. No evidence of cracking on slide that can sometimes be found on well-worn Open guns. Mechanically fine, with a tight lockup, and bore with strong, bright rifling, slide rides like it is on rails. A configuration like this from Limcat would start at approximately $8,000 today, before counting the accessories, with an extensive wait; this is your opportunity to skip the line and own one of the finest racing handguns produced. Accessories fine.
