Harvey Dean showcases his diverse style through the blades he produces and is known to have crafted high quality utility knives, hunters, camp knives, fighters, and Bowie knives, such as this example, his Kennesaw D-Guard Bowie. This bowie knife features a sole authorship Damascus blade in a West Texas wind pattern. Ricasso is marked "DEAN" on obverse and "M.S." on reverse. Blade is excellent with only minor blemishes. Matching Damascus D-guard with sterling silver ferrule and sterling silver pommel cap. Both ferrule and pommel are engraved by Steve Dunn. A fine patina compliments the silver. Hidden tang construction with fossilized walrus ivory grip that exhibits a few cracks. The knife is complete with its custom made leather scabbard that was crafted by Paul Long and is stamped as such on reverse. The scabbard remains supple with a few light blemishes. The knife is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity that is signed by Dean. CONDITION: Very good.
