Manufactured by Mauser for military contract sales to Iran. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, nine position adjustable rear sight at rear of barrel, wood checkered grips. Iranian crest above chamber. All writing and numbers are in Farsi characters. There were 2,000 of these manufactured; 1,000 in 8" barrel length and 1,000 in 4" barrel length and delivered in two shipments. Very few of these have made it to the U.S. market. Great bore with sharp lands and grooves. Gun has been restored and retains approximately 95% of the non-original applied blue finish with strawed small parts. Oberndorf proofs on left side of receiver, breach block and front sight base. Matching nickel magazine with aluminum bottom.
