This example has the "SH" in diamond stamp at butt for the large New York retailer Schuyler, Hartley, and Graham. This second model Russian features a distinctive knuckle at the rear of the frame, two-piece round butt plain walnut grips, the trigger spur, the second type small screw on top of the frame, and a lanyard ring. Finish is factory nickel with case color hammer and trigger guard and blued latch. Full barrel rib and half moon front sight. The matching serial number is found stamped inside right grip panel. The matching assembly number, 1576, is stamped on frame under grips as well as on back of cylinder, back of barrel, and on cylinder latch. CONDITION: Excellent. Overall, some light handling marks. This is an extremely nice example showing only light use. The frame retains at least 95% nickel with about 85% on cylinder with some light flaking and a drag line that blends with nickel. The barrel retains at least 85% nickel with some muzzle wear, a few blending light finish flakes, minor freckling on left side of barrel, sharp barrel legends, excellent stocks, flashes of color on hammer and lever, strong bright blue on latch, crisp action, bright strong bore. A really sharp example.
