Of the Parker Reproductions, "P" prefix serial numbers were prototype guns, but, as opposed to other companies that presented them or gave them as gifts, they were sold commercially; see the Parker Gun Collectors Association website for more information. Dovetail lump barrels with brass bead front sight on a concave machine matted rib, marked on left side with Parker repro legends for a 20 gauge with 3" chambers. Breeches dressed with line engraving, doll's head rib extension with crosshatching. Underside of barrels with "0" for frame size on lump, Parker Reproduction Overload proofs, Winchester "PW" proof, choke designations, and matching serial number. Splinter forearm with Deely latch release and reinforced tip, case colored and engraved with florals and shell motifs, and checkered in a modified point pattern. Interior iron with matching serial number. Boxlock action with classic Parker pointer-and-pheasant scenes supported by acanthus scroll. Action flats with "DHE" and serial number. Automatic safety with "SAFE" ahead of slide. Double triggers protected by a blued trigger guard with acanthus scroll engraving. Nicely fiddlebacked walnut stock with teardrops, two panels of modified point pattern checkering about the pistol grip wrist, "PARKER BY WINCHESTER" hard rubber grip cap, German silver vanity plate on toe line, and skeleton buttplate with light engraving enclosing a checkered butt. In brown leather wrapped case with green foliage lining with pair keys, pair snapcaps, and Parker repro manual. With Emmebi canvas slip. CONDITION: Barrels with virtually all of their factory bluing with some extremely minor handling marks, most offensive some spotting on left tube near muzzle, not silvering. Forearm very good with some very minor handling marks, most offensive some very small crazing on right side of forearm (approx. 1/8"). Action excellent with virtually all of the case colors, silvering only at the sharpest edges. Stocks excellent with some minor handling marks, right side of top tang with a small chip, buttplate with some raised wood where it meets buttplate. Mechanically fine, bore excellent, ejectors strong and in time. Case fine with some handling marks and scuffs, slip with some wear through the slip.
